Welcome to the CE Resources page for CAI Chapters!

Here you will find information and resources to help you navigate CAMICB's CE approval process. CAMICB policy requires all CE programs, without exception, be approved by CAMICB's CE Review Committee in order for those programs to qualify for credit toward CMCA recertification.

Continuing Education programs must be submitted with the Online Continuing Education Application on the CAMICB Continuing Education Website.

Below is a list of FAQs, the CE Review Committee meeting schedule, as well as links to templates of an Attendance Roster and Certificate of Attendance that Chapters can download, personalize and use as their own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to submit the presentation with the application?  Presentations are encouraged, but not required.

So, if I don't need to submit the presentation, what needs to be included with the application?  Include materials that show as much about the program content as possible, indicate the number of CE credits awarded, and provide information that the speaker is qualified to present the material.

We don't use print materials anymore, so I don't have a flyer or a brochure. What can I submit instead?  PDFs of your email promotions or website pages containing the necessary information listed above will suffice.

How long does it take to get my programs approved?  Applications are reviewed monthly according to the following schedule. If your Chapter needs immediate approval, that’s no problem at all. Expedited approval of your programs can be turned around in 2-3 days.

Does our chapter need to apply for approval for CAI headquarters classes, like the PDMP courses?
No, it is not necessary for Chapters to apply for programs that are developed by CAI Headquarters

Does our chapter conference & expo qualify for CE credits?
The education portion of the conference qualifies for CE credits. For example, Day 1 of the program offers 5 hours of CE and 1 hour of expo time then Day 1 is worth 5 CE credits.

When can chapters expect approved programs to be listed on the CAMICB website?  Continuing Education is listed on the Approved Continuing Education Webpage as soon as it becomes approved.

What kind of follow-up is expected after the program?  The following steps aim to protect Chapters and CMCAs in the unlikely event of an audit:

  • Submit an Attendance Roster that includes, but is not limited to, full name, company, and email address within 45 days following the program.
  • Retain student attendance records for a period of five (5) years. Download the sample Attendance Roster to help track event attendees.
  • Issue a certificate or other verification of attendance for CMCAs to submit along with the CMCA Recertification Applications.  Download and personalize the sample Certificate of Attendance with your Chapter logo and contact information.
